Applying for a school place in EYFS (September)
Parents and carers who live in the Essex County Council area can apply for their child’s school place online using the Essex Online Admissions Service
All parents/carers must complete an application form regardless of whether you are in our catchment area or not.
Forms should be submitted to the Local Authority by the date stated on the form. Offers of places will be sent out at the beginning of April.
No schools are able to offer places directly to parents.
Mid Year Admissions
If you are applying for any other year group, you will need to fill in a mid-year application form.
When can my child start school?
Your child will come to school on a full-time basis from the September after they turn 4.

Offers will be sent to online applicants by email on 16th April 2024.
Secondary school places for September 2024
From 12th September 2023 you can apply online for your child’s secondary school (year 7) place.
You must submit an application by the national closing date of 31 October 2023.
