May 2024 - Wilderness Foundation
On Friday 10th May, fifty-two very excited children from EYFS and Year 1 set off on a visit to the Wilderness Foundation in Chelmsford. The children enjoyed pond dipping and found a variety of different pond creatures in their nets. They also went insect hunting in the woods, and found worms, woodlice, millipedes, slugs and snails. The children also had a fabulous time building dens, which were tested to see how waterproof they were. Fortunately, nobody ended up too wet! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. January 2024 - Maldon Police visit
We enjoyed our visit from the Maldon Police Officers today. They told us all about their job and showed us around their police car!
January 2024 - Fire engine visit
We had a visit from the Tollesbury firefighters today. We enjoyed learning about their important role and all the parts of the fire engine. We also asked our own questions!
Posting our letters
We took a walk as a class to post our letters to Father Christmas.
October 2023 - Self portraits
This week we painted our own self-portraits. We discussed the features of our face and discussed what makes us special.
